Shelley Hamilton has built her career on storytelling through her songs. Shelley can be heard singing on many award winning records, and continues to mesmerize global audiences from Dubai, Japan to Barbados. She was thrilled to sing with the legendary Merry Clayton, (the spine tingling voice in the Rolling Stones classic, “Gimme Shelter”) at the 10th anniversary of “Classic Albums Live” in Toronto.
In 2023 Shelley joined the “Black Opry” at the Winnipeg Folk Festival to a standing ovation from a crowd of thousands! Shelley is reconnecting to her Africville roots by playing and singing original country music.
Her latest single “Carry On” honours her Jamaican Maroon roots in the genre she released as a country reggae single in 2024.
